Labor Day Challenge - Week 7 - Monday

I know I planned to get back to regular cardio today, but my baby starts school tomorrow, so I took the day to play with him. I'll resume tomorrow. But today was Sebastian's day. We got up and made (Fiber One) pancakes with chocolate chips. Then we played on the Wii - I did a little bit of Outdoor Challenge (I saw they have a new version out! I must get that, along with the Wii Sports Resort). For lunch, we had grilled cheese sandwiches on the floor of a sheet fort we built. I snacked on pretzels and peanuts. Dinner was deep-fried turkey potstickers. Shhh. Don't tell anyone!

I fully expect to be "normal" tomorrow.

Aww! Sounds like you had a fun, memorable day with Sebastian and that's all that matters. No biggie since you're getting back on track tomorrow.

Are you weighing in anymore? I hadn't seen you post numbers for awhile but then again, I could have missed something since I've been a little flighty as of late.

I challenged myself to not weigh for a month. I'll weigh in the day before I start P90X. But I went for a physical last week and I'm holding steady, according to their scale.

I don't know how you're doing it?! I still weigh-in 2-3 times per week, although I only record my official weigh-in. I just like to keep tabs to keep myself accountable.

That is awesome though! Keep up the great work!

I'm interested to see how you do with P90X. That program scares the shit out of me! (I haven't even seen it...I've just heard horror stories)

Honestly, I rarely think about the scale. I'm not really looking to lose much more weight. I'd love to add some muscle, though.

I meant to start P90X last year but it scared me. I've since watched the program again and it's not as bad as I thought. Challenging, for sure, and not something I would ever do if I were not close to goal. I think my strength is pretty good now, and I can do more than 1 chin up, so I feel like I'm ready. It won't be easy though.

I am actually happy to see that you're not concerning yourself so much with the scale anymore. :) You are doing so well with the eating and are at a good weight for your height/build that all you really need to do is toning.

Once I get to your point, I fully plan on concerning myself with how clothing looks on me and the sizes...not so much the weight since I know that I can pull off a little more weight than others at my height since I'm naturally curvy.

Anywho...you are in GREAT shape and I know you will kick P90X's ass! :D

I should have said toning and strength...tired brain.
